Meet the Team

Glenn Sutcliffe

Managing Director and founder of CAS Ltd in 1997. Glenn is an IRATA Level 3 Supervisor & an IRATA Instructor with over 20 years experience. He has worked in the UK, mainland Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He has experience of running sites both onshore & offshore.


Pete Cresswell

Operations manager and site supervisor. He has been with the company since 2007 Pete is an IRATA Level 3 with over 20 years experience. A time served mechanical fitter he can turn his hand to any works. He has run sites for us in the UK, Scandinavia, Mainland Europe and the Channel Islands.


Dave Godley

Dave has been with the company since 2009. A time served bricklayer by trade. An IRATA level 3 technician. You’ll be unlikely to meet anyone who is so enthusiastic about working on the ropes. Dave loves his job, you switch him on at the start of the day and watch him work, rain, wind, sleet, sun, snow all with the same grin.


Gary 'Gaz' Reid

With us since 2012. Gaz has recently passed his IRATA Level 2. A time served plasterer and general builder a very useful man on the tools. He has been a mainstay on our Birmingham New Street Project team for the last 10 months.


Adam Hocking

Adam has been with the company since 2009. With over 10 years experience working in rope access. He has worked with us on projects in the UK, Channel Island & mainland Europe.


Stuart 'Woody' Wood

Woody has now been with us since 2012. He has recently passed his IRATA Level 2.  He served his time as a Pipefitter with BAE Systems in Barrow.


Paul Trott

Paul is our electrician. An IRATA Level 2 who has been with us for 4 years. He has been involved in may of our EFTE projects overseas. He has recently been involved in Busbar exchanges in wind turbines.






Alex Simpson

Deciding completing his degree in Economics was not for him, Alex has now attained his IRATA L2.  He has been with us since May 2014  He also has Chainsaw quailfications, IPAF, 1st aid training and is a CSCS card holder.  He has heavily involved on or ETFE project in Birmingham.
