Client: SNH

CAS Ltd were asked to design and install a system to protect SNH personnel working at height.  The system needed to be simple to use and able to stand the rigours of a marine environment.  Works involved mobilising all personnel & equipment to a remote Scottish island. Installing numerous stainless anchors in extremely remote points around the island.

CAS Ltd established a risk assessment in conjunction with SNH, provided training in the use of all equipment and set up the inspection records in accordance with LOLER.

All works needed be carried out in a very tight time frame to avoid disturbing nesting birds
