Silvertown Refinery. Work Carried out: Banner installation Client: T&L (Europe) CAS Ltd were asked to provide a fixed price for the installation of 3 permanent signs at various points around the refinery. The access problems were extremely difficult ranging from having to access the wall of a fully clad building with no external access and install a sign weighing in excess of 350kg at an height of 70 meters, and to also install a100 square meter aluminium sign above the banks of the Thames, on the side of a warehouse. All works needed to be carried out with no interruption the normal working of the refinery Work platforms or cranes could not be used due to restricted access at the base of the buildings.
