Tower Crane Safety Inspections

Due to the failure and well documented accidents involving tower cranes a safety inspection was carried out of all tower cranes on sites in Britain. 

CAS Ltd were utilised during this period to provide safety and rescue cover for the inspectors.  Works included the establishment of a temporary access system to enable the inspector to move freely around the structure, whilst being safeguarded at all times at height.  CAS Ltd established a system that was both the access system and a rescue system, which could lower the inspector to a position of safety from any point on the crane should the situation arise.
